2011 to present - Toyota Yaris SR

Still really like it, would be sad to see it go when the time comes, it has been ultra reliable thus far.

Watch it break down tomorrow!

Toyotas are built like tanks, my first car was a K reg Toyota Starlet and it was a complete shed but it loved the punishment!

Is that the 1.8l petrol? Was always tempted by one of those for the bit of extra poke, eventually went with a 1.33 TR. No poke :(

Yup, the 1.8 petrol. It has a little poke under the bonnet, never really a problem when over taking, just drop down to 4th or 3rd depending and floor it. The car is so so light it just go from around 3000rpm. I still get around 40mpg too so at quite good on fuel.

Watch it break down tomorrow!

LOL, funny you say that, I did have to fix a bent bracket in the rear bumper last Friday. The rear end of the car started to make a squeaking noise just before the winter and I thought it was the suspension, but pushing the boot floor down didn't make any noise but poking the bumper with 1 finger did. So it was from behind the bumper and I thought nothing of it, a little "lift" often get rid of the noise but some driving later, 2 miles or 20 miles it would come back. Eventually I got sick of it and want it fixed. Not having any tools I took it to the garage. Apparent someone must've nudged it somewhere along the line (I didn't know as there are no marks) and the bracket where it is behind the number plate was rubbing against the screw of the plate. So they took it off, bent the bracket straight and fixed it all back on. Noise gone and cheap fix for £30.

2010 1.1 Fiat Panda Active Eco

At the end of this month I'll have had my licence for 2 years. There doesn't seem much point in buying another car yet so I'll probably stick with the Panda for a while (which, although it looks fairly horrible, I actually quite like now).
