Played on loooooooooads of other consoles a lot though, so I think I'm well experienced to a degree.

Top 2, gotta be Playstation and Playstation 2 as of yet, simply due to the fact that I have only just got my 360, and I didn't play on my Xbox for very long as I used my PC more at the time.

I went something like this

Atari 2600
Gameboy
Snes (ended up with about 40 games, unfortunately most of them went to my nephew)
GameGear - saved for months, sold it at a considerable loss after about 3 months (battery life, size and games killed it for me).
Lynx
Megadrive - swapped for an arcade stick after about 4 months as I didn't like the pads much and didn't have any good games for it.
N64 - wasn't played much, but i got it cheap largely for my brothers.
GC - only bought a handful of games for it, but they all got played a lot.
DS - gets played mainly when i'm waiting for my parents at hospital appointments etc (the "fun" of being the one that drives them around;)).

Yes I appear to be a bit of an Nintendo fanboy, mainly because I find I play the nintendo consoles more than any other, and I enjoy the franchises linked to Nintendo the most (Mario, Metroid, Zelda etc. etc.).


I'll be getting a Wii for sure, don't think i'll bother with a 360 as most stuff on the 360 eventually comes to PC. PS3 i'll consider when they drop to a reasonable price and have some titles that intrest me.


SNES is my all time fave console though, and imho was the golden era of console gaming. I have about 60+ carts for the SNES, no other console have I bought as many games for, and could still buy more if I so desired.

No other console have I kept as long as the SNES. No other console has games I still come back to as often as the SNES.
