Since i put another 6950 into my setup i keep getting this error msg. Any help would be awesome. I've updated all my drivers. Tried re-installing drivers. they aren't over heating. I don't know what can be causing it

i had the same problem last week. turned out to be the drivers 11.10,went back to 11.9and it's cured the problem. what version you on?

Test them step by step

Each 6950 individually
Each 6950 in different slots
Each 6950 with different power 6pin connectors
Test both 6950 installed, not CF, without the crossfire connector bridge

A pain in the ass, but this way, you eliminate possible components that may cause trouble, bad pcie slot, bad power cable, bad crossfire connector etc.

If one card alone has the problem while the other alone doesn't, then it's almost safe to conclude that the problematic card has insufficient voltage (due to poor quality control).
