Your fastest ever internet order?

I was bored yesterday lunchtime as I had the morning off work. Found a bargain price £3 computer game on a well known etailer, and ordered at about 12:30pm. Estimated despatch time was 2-4 days. The postie woke me up this morning at about 8:00 with the letterbox, and lying on the doormat was my game - total time from mouseclick to doormat: about 19 1/2 hours!

I also remember a time when dad ordered a new PC (many moons ago) which was a top of the range Pentium 266. He ordered it one morning at about 10am from the computer at work, and the delivery man woke us up at about 7am the next day. For such a large package (including individually specced PC, monitor, printer, keyboard etc), I thought that under 24 hours was impressive.

Any other speedy delivery stories out there?
 
Ordered a bike part at 6:00pm and got it at 7:30am the next day. Apparently their courier was late in collecting their orders. 13 1/2 hours

Depends what part of the counrty you live in. I know here you can't always get next day delivery, though some companies do manage it.

Not so much an order, but I did once buy a PC (that wasn't burn tested). Unfortunately the power supply was faulty so I called them up and told them the problem. No quibbles they sent a courier round the same day to collect it, took it to the other end of the country. Was fixed and back with me within 4 days. Pretty impressive service.
 
15mins - orderd something off an auction site lone behold the item was in the same area where i live :P
 
I ordered something of OCUK, can't remember what it was, at 5 O'clock and got it the next morning at 8 O'clock, courier must have been late picking it up.
 
Had a power supply from a competitor that was with me in under 24 hours. Was quite pleased considering due to certain membership privileges i didn't pay delivery :p
 
Hmm this is all pretty standard stuff really, this is my favourite.

Ordered my PSP from japan auction, ordered monday night (like 11pm) and it arrived first thing wednesday. FROM JAPAN! I was chuffed.
 
Just about All my online ordering is from here, Its a Trust thing.
I've ordered late afternoon plenty of times for me and friends and take it for granted that it will arrive the next morning. It does. :cool:
 
3 days is about the quickest i can expect up north. Havnt ordered anything to glasgow yet so i dont know the times.

And they are always happy to take the extra ~£20 for saturday delivery...but the storage warehouse dusnt even open on sat :(

edit: after proof reading - my use of "they" refers to the courier themself - not OcUK
 
Ordered some ram from a competitor at around 3pm on a friday, it arrived (all the way to Northern Ireland) just after 7am the next day, I <3 RM Special Delivery.
 
At uni one of my housemates ordered an optical drive from 'competitor'.com at 10.30pm. It arrived the the next morning. I can't even get my head round how that might have happened.
 
Ordered a belt from Tennessee in the USA. Ordered it on a Tuesday evening.

Received it the following Friday morning.
