Your favourite bacon

what's your favourite bacon?

Currently I'm likeing maple cured streaky bacon.

It has more fat than back bacon, but i think the extra flavour makes up for it, a combination of the two is *as long as both are smoked/unsmoked* lovely, with a nice cheddar.

Can't beat a bit of butchers thick cut smoked.. Classic bit of bacon, in a butty or part of a full English breakfast... Superb..!!

Sainsburys also sell some butchers choice thick smoke bacon, and its well nice..!! Hmm.... Bacon sandwich for the win..!!

and yes I've just been eating a bacon sandwich, with the dripping used in place of butter ^^

Unsmoked back.

British, naturally.

No sauce either, in a sandwich. Good bacon doesn't need it.

the american stuff that shrivels up and goes v chrispy. can never find it over here. have tons of it when in the US

true, what is nice though is cheddar *thinly sliced* added and melted just a little by the heat of the bacon, hmmm think i might go make another sandwich.

butchers unsmoked back bacon sourced from a farm about a mile away from my house. Absolutely brilliant stuff.
