Coming to the end of the year, I'd love to see peoples favourite releases of the year.
Here are my top 5 for 2024, obviously add as many as you want!
1. Happiness - this looks amazing and the colours really pop of the screen. The film is rather grim so keep that in mind..
2. The shape of night - I cannot believe when this film was released, and how it looks like. A wonderful radiance release
3. No country for old men - This criterion release is fantastic on 4k, really enjoyed it
4. Roaring twenties - never seen this before, amazing stunning film
5. Incendies - did not think this would get a 4k release, again a masterpiece that will leave you in shock.
I am glad that so many films are getting remastered, but also annoyed I am having to replace so many films already on BD.
I got Lawrence of Arabia on 4K UHD, believe it was released earlier so not adding to the list but this one of the best 4Ks I own, and the HDR and movie overall is one of the best looking things I have ever seen
