After looking at loads of LE DVDs like the Band of Brothers military bag, House of Flying Dagger Wooden Box, Alien head and the I Robot head, I was wondering what's your best looking DVD?

Mine atm is the Jap Kill Bill vol 1&2 boxset. Although thinking of it my Collectors Edition Pulp Fiction set looks ace.

Oooh...

Either

Or

Or
The Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2 Book of the Dead Editions.
Or
The Rocky Horror Picture Show 30th Anniversary / Shock Treatment "Lips" Boxset
Or
Ultimate Matrix Set with book and bust
Or
Spinal Tap SE - Marshall Edition
Or
Band of Brothers Military set
Or
Red Dwarf Series 5 and 8 with the Starbug and the Skutter.

I have far FAR too many LE sets...

The Matrix Atache is better than the one with the figure but is only for the Matrix. :(

I saw the Rocky Horror show one in the High Street the Other day! looked awesome too.

By the way the Alien head is only £50 and the Sonny head is only £55 at the moment.

Never managed to get the Matrix atache case. :(

RHPS show one is limited to 1000 and contains the Shock Treatment sountrack on top of the 2 disk RHPS and SHock Treatment.

Got one of the Japanese Alien Head sets all wrapped up safe - have bought a UK one for display. :D

Sonny head for £55 is a total bargain though.

I could have had the Matrix one for £26 today but I had no money. :(

Is the RHPS one only limited to 1000 in the UK or worldwide? must have been the UK as I doubt it would have been in HMV then!

You can get the House of Flying Daggers wooden box for dirt cheap imported aswell.

i havent got any flash ones

the band of brothers one is on my shopping list tho. always to expensive tho

My only flashy one is the Band of Brothers tin. It has been £30 for ages now, in fact, I saw the non-tin version in a sale for £19.99 yesterday in a large chain high street store. It may be limited to that one store though, as they quite often have store-specific deals on box sets.

Rather simply my region 1 edition of Total Recall in a little tin shaped like mars.

I have bumper editions of 20 or 30 other films, and about 600 in total, but that little red mars shaped tin is my favorite.

There is a reason - it looks cheap..

It's horrible tbh.

For around £30 it's worth it tbh. Obviously not as good as some wood boxsets like the LOTR one but look at the price difference!

My flashiest box is probably the extended edition Lethal Weapon 1, 2 and 3 boxes I have, they look quite cool. :)

From my collection it would be a toss up between my Argonath bookends and my Korean Band of Brothers.

I do love the simplicity of the Criterion series though.

Heathers Limited edition that comes in like a Pencil case, even come with a ruler...

Band of Brother is good, but the Tin is actually quite common, the Korean version is a fabric one that opens up like a med kit, now that's good.

I also have this Spiderman Limited edition that coms with the comic and a film cel, its huge thou, think the content forced the box to be big rather than anything else.

Also have Akira Tin, but that is also quite common, suppose American Wedding (aka American pie 3) is quite fun, comes in a giant slip case that has a Tshirt that says "I want to get Boom Boom with the bridesmate" on the front. :)

I don't like boxes that don't fit in the normal cuboid shape, they're a bitch to store because they screw up your DVD shelves/diplays.

My favourites are the Futurama box sets and LOTR special eds, great artwork on both. Fifth Element is a cool box as well.

I quite like the Fight Club special edition DVD box. I bought a four DVD Coen Brothers Collection not so long ago. The packaging on that is nice and simple, which I prefer to big plastic novelty boxes.

At the other end of the scale I think that the Star Wars (gold/silver) trilogy boxset has got to have some of the worst packaging ever.
