:D Mine's definately Houses of the Holy, just sat here looking at the track list and it's all awesome.

No Quarter, The Ocean and Over The Hills and Far Away have to be in the top 3 best Led Zep tracks ever, it's such a diverse album and was very progressive for it's time in my opinion.

What's your favourite?!

I mean come on, It's got "The Lemon Song" on it!

Maybe just about my favourite Zeppelin track, just absolutely love the bass playing :) . Think Zeppelin II gets my vote, as well as the lemon song its got heartbreaker, ramble on and bring it on home all of which i absolutely love. Was close between II and III though, since ive been loving you is just amazing, not to mention Immigrant song and Gallows Pole.

Mine is number 3 because of side two.
My Lemon Song actually says Killing Floor on the label of the record

I'm off to a gig in a minute singing for another band who do Whole Lotta Love, Black Dog, Stairway To Heaven and Communication Breakdown - I can't wait.
The downside is I've got to sing Alright Now and Sharp Dressed Man.

I was going to say that but I knew I'd have invoked dmpoole's rage. :p

I think In Through The Outdoor is a marvellous album and also had the two guys out of Abba on it somewhere too.
Its Presence that I think is awful and if anybody says its their favourite we might as well close the thread.

Good luck! :) .

I know that its not a proper Zeppelin record but Page and Plant's No Quarter deserves a mention, the versions of Gallows Pole, Since Ive Been Loving You and
Nobodys Fault But Mine are just brilliant. Was never keen on Kashmir until i heard the version on No Quarter, its just so much more powerful than the original recording and that really blew me away.

I think it was originally called that but then there were some plagiarism issues with either a Robert Johnson song or a Howlin' Wolf track, cant remember which but as a result they changed the name of the song and i think they added one of those writers to the credits.

Remasters did it for me, i remeber hearing the ad for it and thought i know most of them tracks, all on one album.....gotta be a good buy. Bought it, played it non stop then went out and bought all their other studio albums.
