mine was diablo 2 LOD, childhood memories playing lan play with my dad, level 100 barbarian took months to do.

I dont even like most hack and slash style games like this, but i loved diablo 2 lod.

Star Wars Dark Forces, the original from the 1990s. Massive fan of Star Wars when growing up and used to play this for hours round a mates house when he got his new/first Intel Pentium PC. I was soooooo jealous as I still had a clunking old 486 PC.

Amazing times and laughed a lot playing that.

Probably Spyro on the PS1. Or crazy Taxi. Some tiddlywazzles like that shabang.

Hit you on the backswing slick, gottas gt a 49er on the highroad if you catch my drift. pescetarians don't feel the emotion of joy. Levi jeans fit for a king's panda's guard's cousin 4th removed.

Wonna get your post count up doncha boy?

For sheer amount of hours played, has to be Championship Manager.
From 1998 - 2005 must have played 1000's of hours on it.

Since that, probably Oblivion, again put around 750+ hours into it, completing it 3 times.

point and click strategy games are the best, commandos and desperadors (original versions). Everything seems to be about 3d nowadays, sometimes at the expense of gameplay. Nobody wants to produce these point and click startegy games any more.

Original Unreal Tournament or Unreal ournament 2004, reason was my 1st PC game i had :D played it soo much loved them games! UT is a classic.

Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2, first PC game i enjoyed, first one i played, atmosphere, Star Wars, cut-scenes were acted by real people, story, levels.

You need to play it to understand why i rate the game highly.

used to be C&C until the later series ruined it. Starcraft 2 possibly or Just Cause 2 the latter has probably been played the longest over. 70 odd hours I think it was

im not sure on whether to get the new tomb raider or not, its a different style to the old ones so. is it that good then?

It is different, more like action, no that many riddles and places where you have to spend proper time to figure out how to solve and where to go, etc.
However it is good, atmosphere/ graphics are amazing...good story too. played about 7 hours now (finished previous tomb rider) and enjoying.

In short, it is basically a shooter with some basic puzzles and fancy graphics, story was decent at least.

think ill give it a blast then! I thought the graphics looked insane on the advert, I was always gonna hold out and see what people thought of it before buying it, I remember paying 90 odd quid for Duke Nukem forever special edition, and the game itself was shocking. so disappointed and learned not to bite too early.
However, some of the lines in the game were amusing.

Morrowind.

It was just so huge. Also, it was the first game I played where you really could go anywhere you wanted, do anything you wanted, at any time.
