Frank Sinatra, Imogen Heap, Norah Jones and some classical are nice and relaxing if I want to be sent to sleep. I don't really have a favourite.
I'll share this rather sad story here, one day on the drive back from my grandma's it was late and i was tired, this then 14 year old boy here decided to listen to the soundtrack to Halo on repeat to fall asleep too, got to love the monk-esque style
Nightmares on Wax are great - I'd agree with the Smoker's Delight album. I'd say the Carboot Soul one is great too.
The Final Fantasuy soundtracks (especially the FF7/8/9 Piano Collections) are fantastic relaxing music. Although you get the embarassment of all your mates mocking you for listening to FF music
A series of CD's called "Back to Mine". They are basically a compilation by selected artists and DJ's of what they would play when they are chilling out. There are quite a few different ones, including Faithless, Groove Armada and several others.
