Your first, favourite and worst GPU.

first:Orchid Righteous 3DFX paired with a Matrox Mystique
worst:GeForce 2 GTX,it was OK until I tried to OC it then would not stop artifacting :(
best:7970 platinum, excellent overclocker, sorry I got rid.

First: Geforce FX5600 (Was young and not very rich)
Worst: 5850 crossfire setup (one card was great but crossfire always seemed a bit buggy)
Best: A toss up between BFG 8800OC2 640MB and the Radeon 7950, both lasted absolutely ages and were awesome value for money at their time.

First: Matrox G200 8mb.

I had so many great memories with this graphics card. It was part of a Pentium II 350mhz build, and it played nearly everything at the time. It was this build where I played Quake 1-3, Half-Life, Counter-Strike, UT99... Good times.

Favourite: ATI 9800 pro 128mb.

I loved this card as it was a beast. To this day, I still think it was one of the best graphics cards AT I/AMD released.

Worst: ATI 1900XT 512mb

It was a solid performer, but it got insanely hot and the fan sounded like a hoover whenever it was under load. It was pretty good all-round card in its day, but I just couldn't stand the heat and noise at the time - which is now probably the reason why I am really ocd in making sure I choose a decent custom cooled graphics card these days.

First - Matrox Mystique with extra ram daughter board :)
Worst - Matrox Mystique with extra ram daughter board :(
Fav - Radion 9700pro for the performance boost it gave me in DAoC

First: Geforce2 GTS 256MB
Favourite: 8800GTS 512 (lasted ~7 years, with several "cooks" @200C for 10mins in recent times)
Worst: ATI 9700 Pro (great performer, but only lasted ~3.5 years before giving me "seagull" artifacts, despite never being o/ced)*

* Although I still don't know if my 7970 Matrix died after ~5 months, or whether there is another issue, the pc will only power on for a split second (tried different decent PSUs, don't have anyone I know with a PCI-E 2+ I can try to eliminate mobo issue)

First: HD 6850

Favourite: Probably my 7950 TF3 as it had lots of overclocking headroom (it was the fastest 7950 on the 3DM11 thread for quite a while :)) I'm also really liking this 290 as well though!

Worst: If we can count laptop GPUs, the HD 5470M in my old laptop would probably take that prize, it ran stupidly hot with the fan blowing a gale until it eventually died from overheating. Though it is probably mainly down to the cooler on the laptop.

First would have been a trident isa Vga card of sorts
Favorite would have been my trusty voodoo 2 sli setup, what a superb setup that was, paired up with a 300a clocked to 450mhz :)

worst by far was my Ati Rage Fury Maxx , what a dreadful nasty pile of crap that was !

Best PowerVR Neon 250 and M3D: FSAA (not M3D), 24bit colour and AF all back when everyone else had 16bit colour and no FSAA. Unreal and Quake where amazing like that.

Worst 3DFX Voodoo 2. Terrible max resolution, terrible colours, fast but just looked so bad in comparison.

First: Diamond Stealth 64 (technically a VGA adaptor). 3Dfx Voodoo 2 was my first 3D accelerator paired with a Matrox G200.
Fave: GeForce 2 Ultra (back when games were smooth and responsive)
Worst: GTX 280 (fast, but unpleasant to live with)
Honorable mention: Radeon 9500 that softmodded to 9700

first: all i can really remember is it was a 32mb nvidia card, cant remember specifically what it was

favourite: my 7850 that served incredibly well until being replaced by the 290x, for a mid range card in my opinion it properly punched above its weight gaming reasonably well at 5040*1200 with most things maxed apart from aa.

worst: not technically a gpu per say but the igp on my old athlon laptop left something to be desired considering the preceding card [first card] outperformed it in a lot of things. otherwise the only card i can complain about is the unholy noise the 290x makes in bf4, worth aforementioned noise though

First GPU was a 3dfx 8 meg Voodoo card, so many since then, my 9800 pro was probably my favorite although I did like the Riva TNT2 Ultra card. My current 7850 is serving me well at the moment and probably won't change for a good while yet.

First: Voodoo 2 - Blurred edges!
Best: Gigabyte SOC 480GTX - One of the fans has a limp but still working great!
Worst: gtx7800 or something but its was only terrible because I got it from CEX

First - either a Nvidia geforce 4 or some kind of geforce 2
Best - 560ti sli - palit - was a stonker for its time in 2011-2012
worst- 6600gt - it was absolutely cack, doom 3 was a slideshow :(
