Your first, favourite and worst GPU.

First: ATI AGP 9800 Pro
Fave: 280GTX (First build by myself)
Worst: My dad used to have a really old AGP Nvidia that was crap, I forget the model.

First? oh god, a VGA card for my 386 so I could see in colour.

Favourite? Voodoo 5500 PCI.

Worst? 5770 Crossfire. Because as we now know, it didn't work properly.

First GPU: Ati Rage 16MB (yes, on a mac xD)
Favourite GPU: Radeon 5770 1GB
Worst GPU: Geforce 7300GT

The radeon just gave such great bang for buck and was a big upgrade from my previous 8600GT.

Since then I've gone 460GTX -> 560GTX 448 Core ->670GTX Power Edition and then just today I ordered a MSI 4GB R9 290x OC Gaming Twin Frozr card. It was a toss up between that and GTX 780, after reading plenty of reviews it seems to bench better, I just hope AMD's drivers are better than when I was using a 5770!

First GPU: ummmm.... SIS 630 or something like that? Played Age of Empires and SimCity OK which is all I cared about!
Favourite GPU: ATi X800 Pro - flashed to XT PE bios. Purely because it was my first proper GPU and bossed every game up until about 2005 lol.
Worst GPU: ATi X1950 Pro - I just thought it would be better than it was lol :(

First: Riva TNT 2 (think it was my first)

Worst: Radeon 8500 LE (horrible performance)

Favourite: 8800 GTX (drove 3hrs each way from Neath South Wales to the OC UK shop to pickup that card, was worth the trip, took me 30mins to find the shop :))

The 8800 GTX GPU lasted me ages until it was replaced with a Radeon 5870, that also lasted ages. These are my two favourite GPU's from each company.

I kept the 5870 until the GTX 680 came out, which was then replaced with the 780 Ti.

First : some Cirrus logic AGP card (5426 ? ) (changed to matrox Mystique

Worst 5800 Ultra ( got it for free and it still was not worth the money)

Favorite stuck for choice here between 8800GT , 9800Pro and the current WF3 670GTX I run

I must say after having had 3x GTX 780's reference cards for a bit over a year now they are really starting to qualify as my favorite cards in the Top 3 category. GK110 chip is a beast !.

First I think was a Voodoo 1 (or was it 2?). Might have had both, can't remember.
Best. I dunno, I remember 9800GX2 being mighty good at the time. Current Gtx 780ti pretty good too,and the 690 before it which is still a sold performer today.
Worst, that has to go to one of the AMD cards I tried - 4850. I realise it wasn't top end but everything about it was just cheap(look, feel, packaging) and the first x weeks (and two versions of drivers) I had to put up with such rubbish drivers even video playback was appalling until finally a new driver release sorted it out..

Really surprised at your worst GPU choice. When did you have that card mate? It was a brutally powerful card on release and I upgraded from a vanta TNT 16mb card to one for quake 3 :D
