Your First Memories of 360/PS3/Wii Usage?

got my 360 last christmas but one, bought the premium with PGR4. 16 hours later and I was still sat playing it. Couple of hours sleep then on to hexic HD. Other than COD4 hexic is my most played game on the 360 I think :D tho luminees is catching up fast atm lol

Got my wii at launch and sold it shortly after xmas due to very little use and having another in the house that I could use if needed. Moved out recently and bought another one. Currently enjoying Smash Bros Brawl and Resi 4 :D

PS3 arriving this week so will hold jusgement till then. Never played one before but always loved my old PS2 and Im sure the PS3 will be just as cherished, when it finally gets some exclusives lol :)

Got my 360 off my uncle about April 2006 :) It looked awesome, it had an awesome dashboard - but man the games' graphics were unbelievable! I mainly played Fight Night Round 3 and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, coupled with as many demos as I could get, because I couldn't afford to buy any games!! Ahh those were the days :)

PS3 I got not long after Gears came out, so I was quite disappointed by Resistance's offering. I wasn't a fan of the controller either. However, after setting the machine up and seeing all the other things it offered I was quite pleased with it even if there was a lack of games.

360 + PGR3 on launch day - WOW!

Wii + Wii Sports - WOW!

PS3 & Motorstorm - Meh :/

I'm always excited to unbox a shiny new piece of kit though :o

360.

Was shouted at my parents for spending £280 & not having a job, few mates and me all played PGR3 & Lego Star Wars for ages, got loads of games for it and loved it, should have got one sooner.

Wii.

Played Wii sports for a few days, novelty wore off and it's still turned off to this day. All the games are for children or absolute tosh.

PS3.

Timed my self on MGS4, 43 minutes from putting disk in to seeing and enemy. Sold it the same day. Wasn't prepared to wait months/years for it to 'become good'.

I had lost interest in consoles after the death of the Dreamcast and wasn't even interested in getting a console but whilst trawling the web on Friday 09 Dec 2005 I somehow got wrapped up in the hype of the 360 release. However, I also got wrapped up in the shortages and never actually thought I'd get one until someone posted a distribution list for 360's at Asda stores around the UK.

On the Saturday morning I swithered whether or not to do the 20 minute drive to the nearest Asda that was supposed to be getting some 360's in. I decided to chance it and arrived at the Asda store at around 11:00 ish and went straight to the Music, Video and Games section. I asked the guy behind the counter if they had any 360's in and he said they didn't. I asked if he minded if I hung about as they were getting some in today at whcih point he gave me a strange look so I explained the distribution list published on the web.

He looked surprised but said I could float about if I wanted. 2 hours later he came through from the back to say that the delivery had just come in and there were indeed 4 x 360 Premium's on it. He told me to go and get some lunch and he would keep some aside. So I went to McDonalds and came back about 30 minutes later to collect my 360. I had to buy it as a bundle, which included Kameo, another game (can't remember) and a play 'n charge kit for £360.

For some reason, that's one of the main memories I have from the early days of getting a 360. As for playing memories, I think playing CoD 2 was the first point I thought, WOW! And I hadn't really done online gaming before but I was hooked on this.
