Your ghetto car 'features'

My mates radio turns on sometimes when she locks the car... You can see how that can be annoying... Especially coming back to a flat car because she locked it far away and didn't realise :P

When i flash my high beam my fans go full belt. Think its a VAG thing though as my mates Lupo does the same!

Used to have a Sierra that had dodgy central locking. You would unlock it, and it would go into a loop locking and unlocking constandly for up to 10 mins. You either waited for it to stop, or timed it just right to pull the handle when it was briefly unlocked and get in. Often I would get in, belt up, and be halfway home from work before it stopped locking and unlocking itself :)

The passenger window on my 318 goes down when I press up, goes down when I press down, but goes up if I press up really hard.

A girl at my work had a Honda Concerto 1.6, her elec windows all don't work, except the rear right one, and only when the front left door is opened in a specific way...
I was always laughing as she couldn't open or close it when the car was moving :D.

My center-right taillight ( one out of 4 so no biggy) often doesn't work, but after slamming with your hand it works again, probably a loose connector...

My stupid Renault gearbox ( in my volvo) has worn Nylon Bearings, this means that in any gear, I can move the gear lever a full 4 inches from left to right ( while staying in gear), and that getting it into reverse is a challenge sometimes, it will very often go into first instead. I have bought the nylon bearings already but haven't changed them yet.

Was driving behind my cousin's Scenic the other day and noticed that when he brakes, his hazard lights come on with no sign of the brake lights at any time. :p

Don't think I saw the indicators once either.

The Clio he had before that had a rear window wiper that wouldn't turn off.

One of my number plate lights on my e36 won't come on if the boot is locked, if I turn the lights on, my doors will sometimes lock, and it constantly tells me that my brake lights don't work when they work just fine!

Its OBC has a funny idea with regard to range, it'll go from 400+ miles down to 300 in around 30 miles and then happily tell me I have 100 miles range when the tank is virtually dry.

Thankfully, the fuel gauge is accurate!

My Scania sometimes tells me that I my engine has oil pressure of 99PSI - about 30 more than it should! - Its an 08 reg! :D

If im driving with the radio, heater, lights, windscreen wipers and indicator if i hold down my brake when idling rather than using handbrake my indicator just stays lit. If that counts?

I have this on the back of my Golf. I find it highly amusing

Can't say I'm surprised.

My passenger electric window gets stuck halfway when putting it up. Oh and when i use my washer jet most of it ends on the floor. The exhaust is blowing, the radiator was leaking fixed with radweld, the rear end squeeks on occasion and to top the above off.

Hole in rear bumper thanks goes to my dad and his van

Dint in the centre of the driver wheel arch thanks to PAS failure. Also gained nice big scratch down the side as well because of this.

Dint on the left of the driver wheel arch thanks to an idiot who thought red ment go.

Paint on the boot thanks to some kids.

Mondeos just seem to find trouble.

When I use my electric windows (both of them at the same time) when in neutral my revs dip lol

You'd be surprised how much juice the motors use - I'm sure if you put your headlights on full from nothing they'll dip too :)

Never noticed it in my ZS but in my old petrol 400 it dropped them quite a lot :D

I'm quite shocked - BMWs, Hondas and Volvos having electrical problems and my Fiat is just fine.

I'd just be happy if the locks didn't turn into solid ice at the first hint of a frost, can't even turn the key :(

Oh and the 2mm of ice on the inside of windscreen, that's a charm that is, really wakes me up in the morning :)

Yep, owning a Seicento means I'm well versed in dealing with that little gem every ******* winter :(
