I am sure that we all have heard the expression the glass is half empty/full.
Obviously (as I am sure that you all know) it basically means are you an optimistic type of person?
For me, I would say I am usually half full, however I tend to be realistic and hope for the best, but on occasion perhaps over think things when planning for the worst.
On a slightly lighter note (but related to the topic) I had a conversation with a friend about this, and he replied "some say the glass is half empty, I ask if there was anything bloody in the glass to start with" (he was talking about his self)
