Some ati card, maybe all in wonder
Geforce2 mx
Geforce fx5200
Geforce 6800 (died)
Ati x1950 agp
Geforce 8600 (died)
Geforce 8800gts
Geforce 460 (died)

I had the same experience with the 6800 failing (started artifacting), replaced by a x1950

How on earth are you killing all these cards, you live in a desert or something? :)

I dont recall any of my cards ever dying and thats with plenty of abuse from overclocking and volt mods and stuff.

Never keep old GPU's they always get donated to someone when I upgrade.

Yeah i've always done that aswell, i hate having them sitting in a cupboard wasting away. I've only got a few power hungry ones left that nobody wanted.

Quite a short history

3DFX Voodoo 3 2000
Asus NVidia 8800GTS
Gigabyte windforce GTX 960 4GB
Gigabyte windforce GTX 970 4GB

I remember my first one.
Was an S3 Virge with 1 mb of memory, I then added a Voodoo1.
Blank after that, I had a long list of various ATI cards, I was a big ATI fan.
Many years later ( 2007) I had a GT8800 with 1 gb of memory, was a Zotac bad boy, still have it and still works
Then ( 2012 ) a GTX 660 Ti, still have it, still works :).
2014 - MSI GTX 970 - yup, you guessed it, still have, still works
and finally, few days ago another Zotac, this time 1080 Amp Extreme

I've owned:

FX5200
FX5500
x2 6600GT
x2 6800GT

Had something calleda diamond Edge 3D. Came with virtua fighter I think. Before that, something like a trident. Can't remember it's going back a fair bit.

Had loads of things. Many cutting out and blowing up due to overclocking the crap out of them.

Worst buy had to be the 2900xt.

Looking forward to the 480 Nitro. I think it will blow up within a year.

Surprised to see so many jumped to Geforce MX cards.

Maybe my memory is a little hazy, but were they not bashed on release by every developer as not being fit for purpose.

Seem to remember many sys specs saying no to the mx at the time. Just curious, seems odd, it was pretty much out there at the time that they weren't very good.
