your spec is exactly the same as mine except i only have the 2Ghz processor. dont understand how you managed to pay only £30 extra for it aswell. Also, i ordered mine on 16th jan so bit later than you. think i will have to go for the refund. £120 is a big saving

ive noticed the different dell sites have different pricing. where exactly are you guys ordering from. email me if you cant say. im struggling to get prices as low as yours even using a 10% of discount code. and regarding the code, are there any criteria for who can use them?

I beleive the codes are only valid untill 30th Jan so be aware of this.

Also note that speccing up the base version works out cheaper than some of the higher priced base versions by about 20 quid (eg spec the base version at 629 up to the one specced at 779 and it's 15 quid cheaper)

Yeh, you can, i dont think its particularly easy right enough, id be interested in doing this myself.

I ordered on the 3rd Jan just after new years...er well obviously lol. The prices on the day I ordered were all over the place. At one point the default 2.2ghz 1530 was £749 (Home option), and then an hour later it was £849 (home again). The fluctuating price made me almost delay my purchase, but then I just dove in and bought it on impulse.

I was a bit disapointed not to get the 2gb card that you got kainz - my only other complaint is using the headphone sockets gives a bit of a hiss, but my speakers are usb so its not such a big problem.

I'm starting to thing the 2GB card was a bit of luck...because no other readers comments on a well known notebook forum, which I read suggests that they received an SD card.

to those with 1440x900 res and above, have any of you guys had any issues with graininess or clouding. have read on other forms that there have been a few problems with these panels

Shame that you cant have a better graphics card than a 8600M GT tbh.. good for games say 2005 and before, like HL2 probably plays well but no recent stuff.

be much better if you could choose a 8700 or even 8800M GT.
