your mission - setup for < £400

Hi,

I am after a reasonable conroe setup to tide me over for a few months.

I defo want a E6300, not bothered about mobo as long as it offers some general overclocking ability (up to about 2.4ghz), will go with 1gb of ram and upgrade that to faster 2gb ram at later date and also require a reasonable graphics card

Why not look at some second hand bits on that auction site.

sure you could pick up a better graphics card this way.

Given the requirements are slightly unrealistic I don't think you can do much better than hp7909's specification buying new here. An extra £100 or so on the budget makes such a difference at this level.
