Out of all the sick films I've seen, I have to admit that I really genuinely did find the appartment scene in "Running Scared" disturbing. It just seemed so possible, if you understand what I mean.

Apart from that, the only thing that springs to mind is the bit in Event Horizon where they are listening to those audio recordings, although I was very young when I first watched that :D

Audition was and still is the only movie with a scene that made me not just look away, but press Stop on the DVD player and take a breather before i can resume again.

Generally i am not scared of horror or disturbing movies, watched Aliens when i was 6/7 and loved it.

US or Jap version?

The lorry accident in The Devils Rejects made me wretch a little bit. It looked so real.

Watched that last night.

I didn't think it was that bad tbh. Perhaps it was trying a little too hard to be disturbing, but I loved the way they got a taste of their own medecine. I also thought the conflict at the end was good where by the viewer's sympathy was neither towards the police man or the devils rejects.

The motel scene was a bit horrible.
