Your most infuriating game?

Final Fantasy 7: Demon wall

I was stuck on that for MONTHS the first time around and that was in the time I beat every game I owned.

It's a bit easyier nowadays tho :)

Trying to get SS rankings on Devil May Cry 3 is UNBELIEVABLY annoying. :o :mad:

Trying to get perfect crashes in Burnout 3 is also infuriating, esp. trying to hit both multipliers and the explosion all in one.

I know the feeling, its the only game i've got thats made me throw my controller on the floor, when your on 700k without loosing a life then a pink thing decides to spawn on you then you know pain :(

Its all about staying relaxed, the more time i spend on it in one block the worse i get, i usually do several games, leave it for 30 mins then come back :)
 
I struggle with fifa 06. Not getting many scoring opportunities and when i get through I press pass instead of shoot or hold the shoot button for too long :(

Or the only way I can get the ball is with the B button and I press A instead which switches player instead of tackling. I find this game very frustrating, I cant even get around players.

My mate said the same thing when I asked him.

For me it would be devastation, if only because the level design was amazing and was only let down by bad coding.
 
Mine is getting killed right after an autosave in COD2. As soon as the game reloads the same thing happens again. (mostly on the tank missions where the controls arn't responsive on the hardest / verteran difficulty levels)

Another one for me personally is any game that has a fixed camera persepective. This was most apparent for me on Legacy of Kain Defiance on the xbox. I hated walking into a different room and because of the camera angle the controls were reversed. So I ended up walking into walls etc.
 
Assault Suit Leynos on the Megadrive... one of those enemies-come-at-different-times-every-time-you-play-it type games, so if its a generally difficult game, its going to be nigh on impossible if its random each time...

It is a pain when you accidently make a combo out of your star pieces, losing them :mad:

Anyway, it HAS to be DoA4 for me. I played it last night, story mode, with Helena, and it took me AGES to get past stage 4! It was doing my nut in.

As that's quite recent, then i'll also mention an older one.... Budokan, on the Amiga. I got so mad at the last boss, i smashed my lightswitch by punching it.
 
Another for Geo Wars. I'm was so close to breaking 2 million the other day. I had 5 lives but the computer just kained me and I lost em all within seconds of each other. Now I'm just on 1.958 mill :o
 
Yeah currently agree with a few of the ones on here:

Hexic god I bow down to anyone whos got the black pearl combos they really are tough!

Geometry Wars I just plain suck at and dont seem to be improving.

A new game into the mix Marble Blast advanced level 60 schardenfreude (sp?) omg what evil genius came up with that? I bit the pad playing this level the other day :eek: its a right difficulty spike in what otherwise is a fairly straightforward but challenging game.
 
DOA4 for obvious reasons

PGR3 and RR6 because for some strange reason i can barely see the darker tracks on my TV which means i can't play the games propperly and i love both games :(

That just sucks, the computer does seem to nail you on purpose sometimes!
 
Tell me about it Firestarter but i mean in DOA4 some times a character pops up and seems to have some HUGE issue with u and decides he wants ure character dead and u to commit suicide, never have i got so wound up by a game lol

Aladdin on the sega was annoying too! Had to do the genie level and bounce off the ballons b4 they popped got me angry
 
PGR for me , basically because im so bad at it and it really peeves me off. ABSOLUTELY hate being bad at things , really rattles my cage!. My mate was telling me last night about DOA4, said its an absolute nightmare :)
 
sounds like DOA4 should come with a health warning

i got cod 2 today, and yes verteran mode is amazingly difficult, im stuck on the british mission where you defend the town from 4 sides
