Try to keep pushing forwards, rather than being knocked back 3 steps after fixing 1 thing.

- The station Note needs a few bits, but general maintenance, maybe sell it.
- Murano needs a new AC Compressor, then I need to sort the rear calipers, discs and some servicing.
- Berlingo needs prepping for sale as she's nearly fixed completely.
- The Insight needs some servicing, Gaz shocks putting on then preparing for sale.
- Teg needs plenty of love to get her back on the road again, I'll aim for later summer on this.
- The Porkas need a variety things from servicing to brakes. The 996 could do with a new manifold, but the studs will all snap so that will likely be a specialist job and can wait until next year.

But currently I'm procuring a lot of hairdressing supplies to fix up the new daily project fun car.

Randomly bought a 28 year old Honda Del Sol, this will be my third one, the first rotted away and the second got wiped out by white van man a few years ago. I had quite forgotten how tiny they are compared to modern cars. The next couple of months will be fixing it up, brakes, major service etc followed by a spot of derusting and a lick of paint. This car is replacing a CRZ which is horrid car.

Making an outright purchase. Sick of leasing and PCPs.

But it makes it harder to choose!

Looking at used, up to 25k miles in petrol. Gotta have back doors and be fun. Around £40k.

So 8 Gran Coupes, M5s, RS5s, Giulia Quadriwhatevers.

Got until August to figure it out. Maybe even electric and look at the Taycan 4S.

Not a horrible problem to have.

Recommend the Giulia Quad, great car, just make sure its had 3yr service with belts done.

Probably continue the weight saving exercise of letting them rust even more :( my Audi A4 failed it's MOT at the weekend.

The sti tax is £430 and due this month. Sti due it's MOT at the beginning of next month and the rear wheel arches are rusty again. Only go them welded about 2-3 years ago. Clearly did a poor job. So I'm guessing it's going to fail and I'll get another expensive trip to the body shop although it will be a different one this time. Still need to get the wheels refurbished. Needs new suspension again as the bilstein B14s are knocking.

The Hyundai i30 is working currently as the daily banger. Couldn't care less about it. Might change the oil when the weather gets better. Steering is knocking when I turn on the spot. As long as the wheels don't fall off it's fine.

Might go to the meet at ocuk. Other than that it will be driving to work and back.

If my garage was actually water tight I'd sawn the sti and sort a load of things myself but every time it rains heavily it turns into a swimming pool.
Audi A4 has now passed. Got a full set of new continetal premium contact 6 tyres on it. needed a new CAT to pass the mot even though the one on it was only from 2021 it had broken apart internally. Also got some new spark plugs.

I30 is up for MOT in april, I did change the oil and got a pair of new tyres for it, continetal premium contact 7's just for the rear.

STI does indeed need a lot of welding so im taking it next friday, going to be expensive :( But hopefully they do a better job this time. I'm taking it to a different place and the guy welds many subaru's.

Also now the weather is getting better ive started to investigate a fix for the garage and so far it looks like its going to be a massive job, but i should be able to do most of it myself and my dad is going to help too now he's retired :D We've made some decent progress already.

Started looking at replacing my 16 plate Mondeo.
Toyota Corolla Touring ticks the most boxes, shame it's not a plug in hybrid with enough range to get me to work and back. I've gone even more sensible, reliability is priority.

New 4-2-1 Manifold, 400 Cell Cat, stainless Steel Cat Back.
KW V3 Coilovers
Rear ARB
Cold Air Induction Kit
Stage 1 Remap
New Wheels.

Should be done by May.

After having owned many modified cars I decided to be sensible and jump into an electric company car, unfortunately for me they've now changed to an averaging scheme and due to average emissions, list price etc it works out at around £600 a month on the higher tax band, which doesn't make sense for me - despite the convenience of not worrying about insurance, maintenance etc

So I've started my search for another TT RS Vorsprung, and I've told myself I won't modify this one. Especially after a terrible experience with MRC who damaged my car, and having spent over £10,000 with them for stage 3 that left me with nothing but issues offered little in the way of customer service. I fell for all the good feedback when the reality is Doug isn't the one that does the maps, he just flashes them, and any stage 3 engine work is outsourced!

There were only a couple of options on the Vorsprung, red calipers and interior trim colour options on the vents/side trim of seats so finding my "ideal" spec won't be too difficult.
