Your mouse technique?..

Yo, I'm just wondering what everyones mouse techniques are when playing games.

For example, I apparently use the palm technique. I mainly play FPS games but on other games it's still the same. I've seen the grip technique but it looks uncomfortable and tiring.

Also, I've just been reading that some people right click with their ring finger. I personally use my middle finger to right click.

What's feels even weirder to me is that some people use their index finger to scroll. I'm guessing this could be because if I'm scrolling with my middle finger, I can still shoot with my index finger in FPS games.

Anyways, so I'm a palm-gripping-middle-finger-right-clicking-mouse-scrolling gamer.

What about you guys?

I used to use a wrist stationary techinique till, I turned down the sensitivity and got a large mouse pad to be a better shot in fps. When your wrist is stationary moving left to right is done with an arc, not ideal.

So you mean to raise your wrist off the mouse pad/desk?

Some interesting responses so far. It's good to get an insight into other gamers techniques.

Razer Imperator 2012 - Claw grip.

I developed the 'Claw Grip' when I was using a Razer Copperhead and found my aim and precision increased massively. Won't go back to palm grip now, or palm grip mice. I had to carefully decide my next mouse after my Copperhead died. Imperator has served me well so far.

I've been using the Copperhead for around 5 years now and I use the palm grip.

Going to have to decide what to use for my Steelseries Sensei... probably still us the palm.
