Bit of a strange request, but has anyone with an average sized kitchen had a new one fitted in the last few years and willing to post a pic?

Looking at getting a new one fitted but all the brochures and shops etc just have mahoosive kitchens the size of my whole ground floor as their examples so can't really tell if they'd suit as mine's only 8ft by 9ft.

Quite like the black cupboards and light worktop and floor style but I'm thinking it'll look naff in a smaller kitchen!
Booking an appointment with homebase and B&Q for them to create images on a pc but in the meantime....

I have just had a black kitchen with white stone worktops put in my flat. I will take some pics and post them. Its still not all done but will be soon.

Can post more pics tomorrow of finished article, but it was 9 units, sink, hob, oven, 70/30 fridge freezer built in, and oven hood plus worktops. Came to £2500'ish if i recall. Kitchen in a U shape probably 10ft by 9ft dimensions (may be a bit smaller, can't quite recall). Fitted myself apart from Hob which was Gas and a mate fitted it (Corgi registered) and another mate did the worktops.

Only got two pictures uploaded which was part way through dismantling and fitting it.

Ikea do a free 3D CAD kitchen designer, not the greatest for giving an idea of colours, lighting etc but it's better than nothing.

I fitted my own kitchen, bit of a weird setup as the people I bought the house from had left a kitchen in the garage that had already been pre-measured so it was a case of working within those designs and trying to intergrate the fitting I wanted. I might be able to find a few photos...

I have a gallery full of photos including some before shots, give me a shout if you want to see more

The whole place was urban decay at its finest when I bought it.

Quite a small space, but a decent design can work wonders with what you have. It's sort of open plan into the dining room from where the photos were taken, sure you get the idea.

That looks great, Goliath, much better.

Thanks, original was a "house builders special" that had absolutely no redeeming features whatsoever :p . I spend a lot of time in there cooking, AFAIC it's the most important room in the house.....
