along with stulids advice

the psu is rubbish, you'll need better (its so cheap for a reason)
Ace Black 120mm Fan 650W Fully Wired Efficient Power Supply

Black Coloured PSU with a 120mm Silent Cooling Fan
Equipped with a Single 12v Rail Delivering upto 30 Amps
Equipped with 1 PCI-E Connectors for Graphics Cards

you'll need a gfx card as well,

YOUR BASKET
1 x Powercolor Radeon R9 270 TurboDUO 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £113.99
1 x SuperFlower Golden Green HX 450W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black £49.99
Total : £173.58 (includes shipping : £8.00).

gfx card wise you wouldn't want to go lower than a 270 amd (dont know much about nvidias)

what games do you intend playing?

hi guys

thanks for the advice all great Just a update i already have a os its only windows 7 32 bit
i am getting 8gb of ram that was suppose to say x2 next to it lol. because of my budget i am getting a real cheap GFX card.
which is
MSI HD 5450 1GB 64bit DDR3 VGA DVI-D HDMI PCI-E Low Profile Graphics Card for £20 just to see me through till i can afford the card i want.

I hope i am doing the right thing lol

thanks guys if there is any more opinions i would like to here them as it can always change.

You need as good AM3 9 series board with decent VRMs to overclock FX cpus.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte 970A-UD3P AMD 970 (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard £71.99
1 x Gigabyte 970A-DS3P AMD 970A (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard £52.99
Total : £134.58 (includes shipping : £8.00).

But they are all ATX if your case can take that size board.

That PSU, is it one you own or are going to buy?

What about gfx card?

My case is ATX and i was going to buy that psu. i have now decided to use my current 300w power supply until i update the graphics card. i have changed my motherboard to a Gigabyte 970A-DS3P AMD 970A (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard.

Thanks harrism

You need a 64bit OS to see more than 4Gb of RAM, I think someone said you can just resue your same key if you download as 64bit version of it.

What is the 300W PSU that you have? basically the motto is don't try running expensive parts on a cheap budget PSU that cannot deliver it s rated power.

its a lite-on power supply it would only be temorary just for about 2 months as i am on a really tight budget.

If you dont add a beefy GFX card it might be ok for short term use, but does it have all the connectors modern boards need such as 24pin ATX, 8pin ATX and SATA for drives etc.
