Hi all
I'm building a new gaming rig but I did toy with an AMD build rather than an Intel one.
I already have a MSI Z87 GD65Gaming board and thinking of this for the rest of the build:

It will be used mostly for BF4 and Elder Scrolls Online.

Your suggestions much appreciated.

Intel Build
***********
CPU - Intel i5-4670K - £167.98
Motherboard - MSI Z87 GD65 Gaming (Already Have)
Memory - Corsair 8GB 1866MHz Vengeance Pro DDR3 1866MHz CL9 - £59.98
Corsair 16GB (2 x 8GB) Vengeance Pro Blue DDR3 1866MHz CL9 - £125.59
HD - WD 1TB
SSD - Samsung 250GB 840 EVO - £125.98
GPU - Asus AMD Radeon R9 270X 1120MHz 2GB GDDR5 PCI-E 3.0 - £154.99

OR

AMD Build
*********
CPU - AMD FX 6300
Motherboard - ASUS M5A97 R2.0 £66.73
Memory - Kingston HyperX Blu 1600
HD - Western Digital 1TB Black £57.95
SSD - Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB SSD £104.99
GPU - R9 270X DirectCU II £131.00

I would go with the Intel, far better build. Could you build yourself? It would save you money allowing you to choose better overall components.

Why is there 24GB of Memory in your Intel spec?

Those games you've listed a pretty CPU heavy, i suggest you look at the 4770k..and less RAM.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Powercolor Radeon R9 280X TurboDUO 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £229.99
1 x Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £173.99
1 x Crucial M500 240GB SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive - (CT240M500SSD1) £85.99
1 x TeamGroup Vulcan ORANGE 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit (TLAD38G2400HC11CDC01) £55.99
1 x Western Digital Caviar Red 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache WD10EFRX - OEM HDD £49.99
1 x NZXT Hale Power 90+ 550W '80 Plus Gold' Power Supply £43.99
Total : £653.45 (includes shipping : £11.25).

i'd go for this imo
8gb of fast ram
wd red - reliable hdd with 3 year warranty
240gb m500 - not as fast as the evo (but not noticeable in real life usage), and for 40 quid cheaper, its great bang for buck
bumped up the gpu to a 280x
and all underbudget lol
