Please can someone help me troubleshoot the following problem:
I've been running great on my new Samsung 960 evo m.2 250gb ssd, and did a secure erase of the old sata 850 evo. I 100% erased the correct drive. Now my pc won't boot and I get the following error:
Recovery
Your PC/Device needs to be repaired
Error code: 0xc000000f
You'll need to use recovery tools...
I only get the error when the 960 is plugged in, (whether the 850 is plugged in or not) and when only the 850 is plugged in it goes to bios as no OS.
The 960 shows correctly in bios and shows as an option when I boot from Samsung secure erase stick.
I have the latest bios on the motherboard.
When running Samsung secure erase it came up with error 24 Samsung 850 evo is in a frozen state remove sata power cable from drive wait a few seconds and reconnect do not power off the pc while doing this. This was done when the 850 was secure erased.
Only thins is I had to remove the sata power cable from the psu end as drive end not accessible as behind water pump.
Any help/suggestions to resolve this would be much appreciated!
