People on other forums have asked me whats the point in these threads. Well they allow people to see what others are using and whats popular. If your using Quicktime for video and everyone else is using VLC you might be missing something. It's a good way of knowing the alternatives.

I see a lot of people are using Winrar, I thought it was a windows only program unless theres something Im missing?

Your not missing anything, a OS X version is available for download same as Windows. Linux too!

Interesting to see how Transmission is almost completely dominant. Also I thought there would be an alternative to Preview. Like Infranview in Windows or something, maybe not.

Shifty I recommend Burn, it's free, open source, easy. So it's worth a trial. I don't burn a lot of CDs or DVDs though.
