Has yout taste in games, changed over the years?. I seem to prefer the twitch kind of shooters now, like UT3, but years ago, would have found it very annoying.

Not changed much really, still love platform and RPG games but there's not many good ones around atm. Always enjoyed playing shooting/racing/fighting games as well, also recently I've started to like RTS games a bit more since CoH came out..

I used to hate FPS games with a passion, then I got an Xbox which was definitely the first console to provide good controls for such games. Shortly after I started getting into the PC scene and mainly play FPS still.

I prefer games that are well designed. Good design really hits the spot with me, I like to be able to understand the reasons as to why they've put this there, had this doing that etc.

Sort of the same thing as well directed movies.

I liek anything multiplayer that has a decent learning curve and can be played competitively. E.G. StarCraft, halo, smash bros...

A little bit, but only because my platform of choice has changed.

I use to love the RTS games on the PC, would spend far too much money upgrading my kit to allow a more smoother rotation of landscape with full AF AA and all that.

Play a lot more racing and FPS games now and more RPG ones.

Only area of gaming that's never interested me is sports games, apart from Rockstar Table Tennis, I don't think I've ever bought one (Wii:Sports excluded of course)

As long as it's a good game then I'll play it. Love FPS's on the PC but anything else on console's.

I have always loved JRPG'S and that hasn't changed, that's the main reason I got the PS3. I know there isn't many at the moment but they will come.;)

Still love FPS games and I still prefer them on the PC.

I am more interested in RPGs now I would say although I have less patience for them due to work commitments and lack of time.

My taste hasn't realy changed, I've allways been a big online FPS player. Allthough I have a feeling StarCraft II will bring out my RTS side, we'll see. (Yes I know, not a console game.)

Not really. Always been a big fan of RPGs and still am. I probably play a wider variety of games than I used to but that's more because of rental services and slightly increased disposable income than when I was younger, so I can actually try more games out.

I like:

Puzzle games, beat-em ups, action adventure games, a few FPS and very few sports games.

Maybe a year ago I would say i played more FPS and Sports games, but the sameyness nature of these titles this gen (so far on consoles) has meant I play/buy less of those genres.

No, I still like Killing people. Not machines or Dragons or Spacemen, People. Currently stuck in a time warp on BF2 Infantry only servers, My online gaming Heaven

My taste in games hasn't really changed at all really.

I still really enjoy platform, adventure, RPG's. I'm still not really an online gamer - much prefer to play local multiplayer or at least if playing online tend to play with friends.
The only style of game I don't really play anymore is beat 'em-ups - used to really like Tekken, Soul Calibur etc but not so much now. Still enjoy a bit of 2-player Street Fighter though!

I'm into the same games I always have been.

I went from playing Lost Viking and Spellcaster on the master system.

To Zelda: Link to the past and Illusion of time on the Snes.

To playing Zelda 64 on the Nintendo 64.

Then I believe I moved onto playing Shenmue and Skies of Arcadia on the Dreamcast.

And at around the same time Final Fantasy and the legend of dragoon on the PSX.

I do believe it was at this point my attention branched out a little wider, and I began enjoying the Likes of Parasite Eve, Resident Evil and metal Gear Solid.

Now I notice what all the games I have mentioned have in common is a solid storyline, So I say my taste in games is a very much story driven one.

Lack of story, Lack of interest for me. So maybe my gaming preferences havent branched out as far as it seems.
