Already got a DVD RW drive.

Graphics card to follow - looking at a 9600gt / 8800gt depending on how quite they go.

Will be used for some gaming / HTPC hooked up to samsung 40" LCD.

thanks for your input.

Have a look at the samsung spinpoint f1's
Id go with the 640gb, bit more expensive but its worth it.

And i dont know much about htpc cases but i would have though that you would need a low profile cooler?

Artic cooling do a low profile cooler that is quite good, cant remember the name of the top of my head.

And any reason your going micro-atx? If its for gaming like you said you will be better of with a atx system

The zalman fits the case no problem, needs to be that case (microatx) as its going under the tele and need to look like AV stuff to fit in.

Agree with all the above
G33m DS2R
MX2
Samsung F1 drive

add to that the mini ninja heatsink as this is a tower style that can be run passive in the Fusion due to the close proximity of the 2 120mm fans.

SEE HERE

Nice find about that Ninja cpu cooler - deffo getting that.

MX2 ok, and so is the Samsung F1 drive.

Mobo looks good to,

Any ideas on a graphics card???? not getting much joy in that forum.

Thanks guys

The ATI cards are probably going to be a good idea for you if you are linking your computer to your TV. The current ones support 5.1 surround through for the HDMI which would be good unless you hand other speakers to use. The new 4000 series that is due out soon will support 7.1 surround.
If you can wait for a few weeks new cards will come out and prices will drop. but if you feel you need something now, go for a 8800GT like this one: BFG 8800GT on deal this week

looking at 2.0 sound from quite a good stereo amp and speakers so 5.1 sound not an issue. would not the 3600 series ati cards be a step down from a 9600 / 8800 card?? I was also looking to connect via hdmi on the TV.
