Your thoughts on this laptop

I'm most likely going to be repeatedly spending 3 - 4 weeks in hospital soon and I'm looking at getting this laptop to take with me. I'd want it for playing DVD's and also for use with the Tomb Raider Level Editor which only needs a max screen resoloution of 1024 x 768 and a slow processor to run to run it. At home it would also be used for general office type work as well.

Not sure it would hack it due to "only" having 2GB memory. Even so, at that price break you can do something like this, which has a much greater scope for running various things:-
Intel Core i3 2350M 2.30GHz
5.6" High Definition (1366x768) WLED
4GB
640GB
1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 525M
DVD Writer

I will do what you want, but it isn't very good value.

+1 to this recommendation, even if you only need if for a short while, then for office work the CPU and GPU will make light work of it, saving time etc
