Your thoughts on this ShadowPlay video + quality

Hello

Ive got a new pc wooooo lol

and Ive been playing around with my geforce 1080 SLI setup. Ive been using Shadowplay to record game play etc

I do find that shadowplay and youtube wipe some quality off which is a shame as the final upload never resembles what I see on my screen while playing the game

Best to post this in the PC Gaming forum, not in GD.

But it looks fine at 720p, remember that Youtube downgrades the quality when it encodes anyway, so it will never look as good as what you see.

The issue is youtube capping the bit rate of the video. Videos with lots of movement (grass etc) will turn into a blurry pixilated mess most of the time. I think shadow play offers a pretty decent compromise of quality and file size vs performance impact (negligible). Big fan here!

Upload the raw file pal, youtube compresses the crap out of everything.

It looks insanely bad because you've got youtube image stabilisation turned on, look at the subtitles!
