With Jackie chan (62) and Jet li (53) both getting older and making less of signature movies I wanted to make this post to see everyones top 10 movies choices.

I will be posting my top list a bit later but it will give everyone else a chance to start.


Fingers crossed they both make at least one more hit movie each.

I can't name that many. I'm only posting to say I love the rush hour films :o

I imagine that's probably sacrilege to you :p

Not really, I liked the first one, 2nd was good to, I also like his older movies,

if you cant think of 10 you can put 5 down, you may only like 5 :)

Agree that while Jackie's American films are decent, they don't come close to his old Hong Kong films.

Anything with him vs. Benny the Jet is gold, Wheels On Meals being a personal favourite.
 
Rush hour the best? lol get out. :p

I would struggle to do a top 10, has made some excellent films but some are just rubbish other than the fighting.

So here are my favourites.

Drunken Master 2 (Cantonese version, not the horribly dubbed and ruined American version)

Fearless
Danny the Dog aka Unleashed

Once Upon a time in China
 
Tai Chi Master (Jet Li)

Find the original language version, as 'Twin Warriors' has a crap soundtrack in comparison IIRC. Same goes for 'Wheels on Meals' and 'Armour of God' with Jackie - and probably most/all the other films mentioned too.

too many Chan films to list, to be honest. Thunderbolt is often overlooked but is outrageously action filled, the pachinko hall fight is about the best i've seen and the bit at the wrecking yard w/ the portacabins is insane. The Myth is good too. just seen 1911 though, didn't like it.
 
Jackie Chan - well you've pretty much listed all my favourites, but here are a few more:

Cradle to the Grave - a superb film I think
Unleashed was an epic film, still one of my favs

War (With J.Statham)
Fearless - Was OK but not one of my top
 
Quite a few mentioned so I'll only add to that things I haven't seen mentioned.

Fearless Hyena I and II - love these two films. Totally standard revenge plot but very satisfying to watch. I love the weird emotional fighting style he puts on in this - happy/sad/angry/etc... really weird and unique.
Dragon Fist - I like the serious tone.
Shaolin chamber of death - the grease pit training in this one was pretty cool.
Magnificent Bodyguards - good cheese. Mr "Skin you alive" is still stuck in my head after so many years.

And Fearless is a fantastic film, as are the Once upon a time in Chinas, as well as all the other Jet Li films mentioned in this thread.

Hero is the best Jet Lee film I've seen, no question.

Can't say I've seen a huge number of his films, and that's the only chinese language one. But it is great.
