We all have our favorite games of all time, but lets focus on this current generation. Which are your top five games that have been released on the PS3, 360, Wii, PC, PSP or DS?

Heres Mine;

1; Alpha Protocol (360). Very similar to my favorite game of all time Deus Ex. Loved nearly everything about it including the conversation system, damage and of course the moral choices. It's such a shame this didn't sell well enough.

2; Fallout 3 (360). A massive game similar to Oblivion, only this game held my attention right the way to the end. Possibly my most played game ever.

3; Deadly Premonition (360). Twin Peaks the game. Very quirky and very different. Felt like been part of a TV show.

4; Batman: Arkham Asylum (360). Bought this game with no real expectations and was really suprised. The second half did back track a fair bit but the art style/graphics and gameplay stood out all the way till the end.

5; Heavy Rain (PS3). IMO changed what games could achieve. The best graphics in a game ever and the story was really amazing. Can't wait for the next David Cage game and made me glad I kept my Playstation for games like this.

Uncharted 2
Mass Effect 2
Fallout:NV
Red Dead Redemption
Batman: Arkham Asylum

Honourable mentions:

Fallout 3
GTA 4
Enslaved
InFamous
Mafia 2
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Mortal Kombat
Heavy Rain

1. Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii). Just edged the first. It's a credit to Nintendo that their nth Mario game feels fresher and is crammed full of more new ideas and inventiveness than most brand new ips. Everything about it screams effortless quality.

2. Super Mario Galaxy (Wii). See above.

3. Demon's Souls (PS3). Old skool gaming that reminds us that once gaming didn't hold our hands and that the real satisfaction is in working things out for ourselves. Painfully good!

4. Bayonetta (360). Bayonetta is the best game of its kind - cheekily slapping Ninja Gaiden and God of War before winking as they run out the door. A solid 60 fps, gorgeous visuals and silky animation - every developer should take a leaf out of Platinum's book. Possibly the most demanding and rewarding game of this generation.

5. Rez HD (360). Technically not released this gen, but easily up there with its best. A timeless, trance beat trip that's as much a unique experience as it is a game. If I hadn't already sunk endless hours into Rez over the years this would be vying for the no. 1 spot.

Honourable mentions to:

Metroid Trilogy (Wii)
Sin and Punishment 2 (Wii)
Little King's Story (Wii)
Lost Winds 1 & 2 (Wii)
Uncharted 2 (PS3)

Good question.

1. Bioshock
2. Mass Effect 2
3. Mirrors Edge
4. Dead Rising
5. Chromehounds

Honourable mentions:

Lost Odyssey
Fallout 3
Oblivion
Uncharted 2
Super Mario Galaxy
Assassins Creed 2
Braid
Resident Evil 5
PGR4
Rock Band Beatles
