By the way, does anyone else think this is turning into one of those (what I've now coined as) 'Throw-away threads'? I.e basically anyone can post in it, so you end up posting your web-routine, and then never check the thread again?

So in the end the thread gets tonnes of replies but basically no conversation between posters, until the thread dissapears off the front page? :p Similar happens whenever we get a 'post your bookmarks' or 'your favourite websites' thread or 'what other forums do you post on?'

Merhh I made the thread to give me more ideas for websites to visit at work.

I just made the premise of the thread more community involved rather than just asking the question 'can someone give me sites to visit'. People like to share on the net, but are generally more adverse if it benefits someone. People will still read the thread though, in some cases to see if other people visit the sites they do.

I don't think the thread is quite as dead as you think, anyway. I always put a lot of thought into my threads. If you check my thread history you'll see I'm quite a success!
