Youtube 4k in edge, IE, Firefox

I'm able to get it to play at 4K in Firefox and IE11 (desktop version) on Windows 8.1. Don't have a W10 version handy to try with Edge. At least it says its 4K on the setting, I only have a 1080P monitor for output but it seems to be the 4K stream and it plays.

What platform are you on? Google sponsor Chrome and own YouTube, and it wouldn't be the first time they've played favourites, but it seems to be working for me.

60FPS only works if it supports all of these: https://www.youtube.com/html5?gl=GB

MSE is the important one, if the browser does not support MSE, then it doesn't support the right codecs that YouTube uses for 4K 60FPS. I believe YouTube uses VP9 for high framerate 4K content due to better compression compared to the other codecs. If the browser doesn't support MSE then it usually just falls to the normal framerate 4K footage.

Checking the browsers on Windows 10:
Chrome supports all
Firefox does not support MSE with VP9
Edge and IE 11 does not support VP8 and MSE with VP9
