YouTube app ever increasing ads - alternative?

I've basically had enough of YouTubes ever increasing ads.

They are all over the app. All through videos. Sometimes multiples.

I used to put up with them, but they now crowd the home screen, and getting very annoying in videos. (no longer use it for music).
I probably use YouTube 5 percent compared to what I did a year or two ago.

Is there an alternative?
App, service etc?
Dare I say.. Is tiktok any better?
An app with an ad block?

Side note :
I see they are increasing in Gmail too. It may be getting to a point where I think about alternative apps to Google services. Probably a indicator of things to come.

It's not. The ones you see on the Play store is actually a rip off of NewPipe: https://newpipe.net/

Who knows what else they've modified and potentially added, I would uninstall it.

The real Vanced can only be found here: https://vancedapp.com/

Both NewPipe and Vanced works pretty well. If you don't need to log into your Google account, I would go NewPipe. If you do, Vanced is the best option. Bare in mind there's currently a bug with the latest version when logging in, you need to install 15.34 first, log in with that, then you can safely update to the latest version.

Vanced is the single best app ever made, you'll never look at YouTube the same. The official app is really unusable.

In the phone settings, find YouTube and set "Open supported links" to "Don't open in this app", while for Vanced, set it to "Open in this app".

I did the same, No adverts on my phone or TV Youtube this way, and also get Youtube music to use.

Best app on my phone (Vanced), reminds me I need to update as it's clearly on an older version because ads are slowly starting to creep back in .
