Hi all, currently have a Samsung KS7000 UHD TV, I've noticed over the last week that using the YouTube app that's built in, I'm getting adverts every 1-2 minutes no matter what I watch.

It's beyond a joke now where I can't even watch a 2 minute video without having at least 1 advert interrupt the video.

I have reinstalled the app but no luck, I've looked for ad blockers for smart TV but none have actually worked.

Anyone else noticed this?

Yeah just noticed this today actually. Watched an 11 minute video and interrupted 3 times with bloody adverts. I doubt however these are by Samsungs design but rather Google's, probably to push people towards their £2 a month add free sub.

Only Samsung adverts I get are in the hub bar, which is annoying itself tbh.

Sounds like a update to the YouTube app on the tv and then forcing these adverts. Can't think why else it would suddenly do this but it looks and sounds arwful.

It is awful, it's either put up with adverts or subscribe to YouTube red but that's not happening, I'll just stick to using YouTube through windows with adblock.

I watch most YouTube videos on my phone of late and recently swapped my Samsung 4k tv for a oled Panasonic. I'll check my Samsung (now in mancave) and see if anything odd on YouTube is happening there. Might be a while as its rather chilly in mancave this time of year. Do you have a Roku or Apple tv hooked upto your Sammy tv to YouTube through that?
