Youtube changes again

They just cant leave it alone can they, it's doing my head in! I tried a user script to change it back to how I like it but it no longer works.

Anyone else getting a bit frustrated with it :mad:

Perhaps explain what the problem is first?

Youtube is known to test on small groups of users, what has changed for you, may not have changed for others.

What is the actual problem with the comments thing? Surely you can create a separate Google account and post YouTube spam with that instead of your main Gmail profile?

The comment system is wack the new intferface is awful , on the plus side videos play as good as they always have. Keeps on recommending me content that has nothing to do with my interests. rant over guess it wasn't as terrible as i made it sound

It's a bloody joke! I have my Youtube account linked to my Google+ account and I still can't post comments. Whenever I click on the "Share your thoughts" comment box, a new window opens and then closes instantly. I've even made Youtube.com an exception in my browser's pop-up blocking options too, it still does the same thing.

Happened here as well. I couldn't respond to someone's comment on a video of mine. :/

Yet I am logged into G+, and Youtube. They're also linked.

They haven't just changed it, they've broken it. See my post above. I've followed all the instructions, linked the accounts and still I can't post comments or reply to people who've commented on my videos/channel.

It is very broken. I am shocked how downhill youtube has gone, needs fixing or going back to how it was when it actually worked.

Grease monkey scripts are good for retaining and adding functionality for when they change stuff for the worst. Yousabletubefix is a good one. I can't bare to use youtube without adblock and Yousabletubefix.

Don't care. I only use it when people send me links to something funny/interesting. I don't think i've commented ever or posted anything.

I find the recomendations pretty good.
Couldnt careless what they do, as long as it remains free and plays video.
The apps dont change.
As for comments only commented a couple of times, and i just wont comment, not much point in commenting anyway, 99% of it's spam.
