yeah it's up to date. It only freezes if I do a certain sequence of events it seems, accessing the history part where playlists are: I'll see how it goes - I can send it back as it's still in the returns period. (Safari seems okay yeah)Guessing iPadOS is fully up-to-date and you're using the latest version of YouTube?
The YouTube app has had similar issues in the past and usually an app update resolves it.
As a temporary workaround, have you tried YouTube within Safari?
It’s annoying -my first foray into iOS for years-
And now I get the YouTube app freezing on me -it’s the new iPad Pro.
:/ not a good first impression on iOS.
