Good day all.
What a nightmare I am having trying to log back into one of my Youtube/Google accounts.
I failed to update my mobile number on the account, and as such I am now unable to get the 2-step verification code.
The account was originally created as a Youtube account via my msn email address, so I can still log into the msn emails via outlook.live.com
But of course I can't access anything to do with Youtube/Google side of things.
I've gone to: https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery
And followed all the steps
But I end up back at one of two points
(1) Needing the 2-Step verification code that is being sent to me old mobile number.
(2) Being greeted by a page saying "Google needs more info to verify it's you" Try again.
The stupid thing is that I know all of my account details, email address, password, old mobile number, first name, last name, etc ,etc.
Is there really no way of recovering this account, and do I just kiss it bye bye?
If so that's a real shame as this account has Youtube monetization enabled and active.
Thanks for your time.
Best Regards.
