YouTube help?

No idea where to post this thread so please move if appropriate.

Below are two screenshots taken just seconds apart.

The issue I'm having is almost half of videos I want to watch on YouTube I can't. They just buffer and buffer and buffer. It appears to be the videos themselves as if I were to go to another video even by the same channel that might work fine but its really starting to become annoying now.

Any ideas or what is causing this?

have you ruled out browser issues by trying another web browser or trying another device to watch the videos on?

This. I had odd throttling issues with Virgin Media which they wouldn't admit to. There was an extension I used to bypass it but I don't have it installed any more.

have you ruled out browser issues by trying another web browser or trying another device to watch the videos on?

Similar happens to my phone on my home network but the videos appear to be random same as my PC.

Zen. 75Mbit down and 15-18Mbit up

I went with Zen as I believed they didn't throttle back. I might have to email them if you think this could be the case.

I also had this problem, they refused to admit they were doing anything, but speed tests, Netflix etc would work fine at full speed. youtube was unwatchable.

need to make sure googlevideo.com is not blocked by browser eg firefox noscript
and also can use firefox 'behindtheoverlay' add-on to get rid of stupid (give me a more derisory word - like halfrauds say ) google nag screens
