Sorry if a thread already exists about this but search kicks up a lot of results for both words :)

Just took out a premium subscription to remove the adverts as they were driving me crazy and noticed the Originals section. Most of it looks fairly 'meh'...is there anything you guys would particularly recommend I check out?

Zero interest in Cobra Kai before anyone mentions it :)

Favourite shows of recent years - Expanse, Gomorra, Billions, Save Me, Westworld (S1), Silicon Valley, Banshee...etc, etc.

Dunno about Youtube original, but Expanse and Westworld are my type of thing. Recently watched and enjoyed:

Preacher
Upload
Mr Robot
Devs
Dark - German timey wimey show but very engrossing. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5753856/
Sex Education
Altered Carbon

Into the Night - really enjoyed this and had us on the edge of our seats throughout! 8 episodes ranging from 30 - 40mins each.

In terms of YouTube originals Origin was OK - some interesting twists to the story that aren't obvious though ultimately it is kind of average despite a promising start. I struggled to find anything else I was interested in enough to continue paying for it though.

@ivrytwr3 seen about half you mentioned and other half on my various watch lists :)

@Rroff will check out the origin trailer when i get home, generally looks up my street from what I can see on IMDB.

In regards to price, i'm only paying to remove the adverts so the Originals are a bonus.

coulda just installed an adblocker, not seen a youtube advert in years.

also I see in the comments people saying if you forward the video to the last 30 seconds and then skip back to the start you don't get adverts, but I've no idea if thats correct

I guess you would still get at least the initial advert though

Adblocker is fine for PC but pita for TV, phone and tablet. Signing up via India is ~£16/year, happy to pay that.
yea true I had an add blocker app on my phone that acted as a proxy and quite often the internet would just stop working until I turned it off and on again
