Youtube problem

I've had an account with them for years. Recently my computer went off for repair and now I can't sign in to my old account and have had to create a new one. Is there a way of logging back into my old account?

I give up. Nothing works. It keeps asking for my email address and then refuses it. I've tried my old email too and it refuses that. I've started a new channel so no big deal. Just means I've lost my subscribers and uploaded videos.

Fixed. I had to send google my phone number and they then sent me a code. I typed in the code and presto ! I have my channel back. One thing I'll say is the process could have been much easier if they just emailed my details.
