Does anyone else have this problem?

I like to watch YT on my TV in the evenings, catching up on my subscription channels, especially 4K videos on my 4K TV but the damn (wireless) connection to the TV only results in something like a 10000-15000Kbps speed (as reported in 'stats for nerds') which just isn't fast enough for anything other than 1080p quality, it stubbornly stays at this speed, no matter how long I stream for.

I thought it was supposed to be adaptive, increasing quality of the videos if it detects the available bandwidth, Am I wrong?

My internet connection is a mobile 5G one (via phone hotspot) with speeds in excess of 150Mbps

Checking signal strength in the TV settings shows a full 4 bars and that its connected to my network at full speed, but no matter what, the YT app itself will not take advantage of it.

I don't have the problem when using the same connection to play YT videos on my desktop nor do I have any problem streaming at 4K with the other streaming services, Amazon Prime & Netflix.

Any ideas?
