Youtube video downloader and converter

VDownloader, a great app for downloading and converting youtube videos, stopped working a few weeks ago after recent changes with youtube.

A new version (0.7) has been released which works extremely well again. In my opinion the best solution to getting those vids onto your hard drive.

I used a program before, but downloaded them in .flv format, i.e. flash.

Then could convert them with an ipod converter. I'll tyr that though if it downloads to a viewable format.

It lists ipod as one of the many types it converts to but i don't have one so haven't tried. I've been getting it to convert to .avi which works very well. Downloading and converting is a one step process.
