YouTube Video Downloader

Hi,

Does anyone know what to use to download and save youtube videos in firefox or any other method ?

In Safari:

Go to YouTube page > Window > Activity > double click the video (the MB one) and it will download > add .flv to the name > open in VLC.

Lol, let's hope there's an easier way

out of interest why do you want to download the videos? want to stick them into an adobe premiere project or summat?

i've seen people want to do this before, but if its just cuz you like the clip, add it to your youtube favorites its not going anywhere

(i was actually just thinking as i finished typing that maybe you'd want to download em for your iphone or whatever, but i've seem the iphone view youtube stuff straight off the site, so it wouldn't be for that reason)

TubeSock is pretty decent if you want to convert them at the same time. There's a Firefox extension out there which basically does the same as the manual Safari method.

put them on your ipod, maybe?

Yeah, iPod. Probably less so once wifi becomes more ubiquitous but sometimes theres no substitute to have the actual file in full.

Waste of bandwidth keep downloading it all the time.
