Ys style RPG's

Hey all

Just starting to get through the Ys series that are on Steam and totally loving it. Can anyone list other games like it 2D/isometric Jap style RPG's? I know you have stuff like Torchlight/Titan Quest but these are Western RPG's I believe, I am looking more towards the Jap side of the Genre. I also don't mind if PS2/Gamecube is included I know this is a PC thread but hey. I don't even mind a different voice language as long as the actual games have subtitles

It's probably a little closer to Zelda than Ys, but Terranigma is an incredible game (and on that note, Alundra is good too if you don't mind even more of a lean towards Zelda). That is if you don't mind playing a SNES game
