I loved this anime, it's literally the only one of two I've watched (the other being attack on titan) but imo this look awful. Not everything needs a live action, sometimes strange things are best left in your imagination because they are too strange to be real.

The first couple of episodes was pretty good. I havent watched the original anime properly before so didnt have a clue what to expect.

Half way now and I am enjoying this. Have no idea what the story meant to be but love the fight sequences.

It very much condenses some story arcs, but they're things that never would have worked in live action anyway.

It's pretty well done imo.

Yes, although animation is old but it's very good, dub also very good. Bleach took massive influence from this including ichigo and his hollow side.

I'm actually rewatching it, don't be fooled by the animation, the anime is a banger. Also the dub is very good.

Im actually a big fan of that classic style animation like kenshin and hunter x hunter!

There was a 2011 reboot that ends after the chairman election arc, well worth watching and absolutely fantastic show.

Same author as Yu Yu Hakusho too, they're both among my favourite animes.

Oh I watched 2011 and that is probably my #1 anime. Most of the characters get good character developments. The power scaling is something else though.
