Yusmart anybody?

Anyone here heard of the Yusmart 198QP?

Found some reasonably good deals for it, was wondering if anyone had had any experience with this or similar.

Looks like an 8bit display, 12ms response time. not bad for a 19'' TFT £160-190. Any thoughts on who the lcd manufacturer might be?

was also considering their 17'' monitor (Yusmart 178QP) but I believe this is a 6bit TFT - cheap as chips though :eek:

Might want to look for a digimate 19inch in that prce range. for the money they are good, although you cuold just get the widescreen acer for £170 from elsewhere

it looks very much from the specs that it is a TN Film panel. Limited viewing angles, even on the spec sheet, relatively low contrast ratio. I really dont think it is a true 8 bit colour depth tbh. I have never heard of them as a make, may be ok but considering the availability of fantastic models like the Samsung 913N for <£200, i think you might be better looking elsewhere
