I'm looking for a Z390 board that will get the most from a 9900k. I have no interest in what it looks like and no preference with form factor. I will be custom water cooling and would like to incorporate the VRM in the loop but I'm thinking that's going to have to be via monoblock?

Any suggestions or good user experience to share?

i don't think there are many monoblocks for the z390 series yet. so your mobo choice may be limited by what monoblocks are available.

Wow, really? The Asrock ITX board, I wasn't expecting that.

Pleasantly surprised :)

aorus itx isn;t far behind , more cooler running VRMs but 240amps vs 300amps - makes the difference if you want to run 5ghz all core with 9900k - though would personally run both with 9700k and no AXV loads :D

would personally go for the master , less amps across vcore then Aorus elite-Ultra but better IR3553 mosfet , or got the cash Xtreme . I dont think EKWB will make waterblock for aorus boards, maybe Elite to Ultra versions but no point with the Master to Xtreme boards.

Sell a Kidney and get the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce :D

just get the Master or Xreme non water - Xreme can game without the heatsink on if needs be at 5ghz :D
